We are extremely proud to announce that we are welcoming our 50.000-th Mobile Viking today. We want to thank you all, because thanks to you, we have been able to achieve this. Indeed, 68 % of our members are referrals and only 6 % of our members wish to leave after one year. These numbers are unique in the Telco world and they prove that the concept of a community driven operator works.

Sometimes we Vikings feel homesick for the great countries that we came from. Of course, nothing stops us from visiting the ancestral realms of the Vikings. Danmark, Sweden and Norway are not that far away.

We founded Mobile Vikings with a very simple price plan: 15 EUR for 1 GB of mobile data, 1000 text messages and a calling rate of 24 cents per minute. Along the way, we noticed that some people called a lot. For them, 24 cents was too expensive.

Starting today, april 29th, all Mobile Vikings customers can use mobile internet in 14 countries at 50 cents per megabyte. This is five times cheaper than before and finally fixes the poor Belgian score in the European Benchmark. Studies have shown long ago that compared to other countries, Belgian consumers pay way too much for telecommunication services. Mobile Vikings leads the way towards a competitive tariff in several European countries and the United States.
